Do you have a special someone to buy for who is environmentally conscious? Perhaps a vegan friend or relative for whom you would like to buy something special? Then Little Life Box is exactly what you have been looking for! Whether it’s a present for someone else or a treat for yourself Little Life Box is the subscription service you can feel good about.
Every month they will deliver to your door a box of surprise health & beauty and snack products, all of which have been carefully selected for their green/sustainable / organic / health conscious credentials. You have the option of the ‘regular’ box or the vegan option, and there is also a one-off “Gift Box” available.
The thing that sometimes prevents me from trying new products is the thought – if I don’t like it, I will be wasting it – and I abhor waste! So I was particularly pleased to be given the opportunity to try the Little Life Box.
The first thing that struck me was the quality of the packaging. A sturdy box that required a signature upon delivery and was printed in both English & French. Upon opening the box, I found beautiful tissue paper carefully wrapped around the contents. This would not be a particularly big deal if I were buying the box for myself, but if I were buying this for a gift, I would be pleased to know that this was how my gift was presented.
My family of helpers always swarm around when I receive something new and exciting to review, and this was no exception. The first item to fall victim to the kiddie locust swarm was, of course, this chocolate bunny from Camino. I am assured by my assistant reviews (the family!) that it was, indeed, most delicious, but this poor old mum did not get the opportunity to try it herself.
However, there was plenty more for me to discover while the bunny was devoured! My first favourite find was the Bare – English Vanilla Coconut lip balm. Not only is it free from preservatives and GMO ingredients, but it is also vegan too! It is made with candelilla wax – a plant based alternative to beeswax. I also very much enjoyed the Montagne Jeunesse Peel Off Face Mask. It’s not often this mum gets time to put her feet up & relax, but I made the time by instructing everyone to go away while I reviewed the mask. I managed 4.5 minutes before I was disturbed and my skin felt fantastic afterward.
The pouch of applesauce, the multigrain crackers, and the quinoa chocolate chip cookies were all appetising, and I would purchase all of them myself to help stock the kid’s snack cupboard. One of the things I especially liked about Little Life Box website is that they have a product page, detailing the background info on each product and letting you know where you can buy them – what could be easier?
This product page also allows you to see some of the other products that Little Life Box might send you next time! Every box is guaranteed to be different so you’ll never get the same item twice – although you may get a different flavour of the same thing. Some of the great looking items I would like to try are pictured below.
If you would like to try Little Life Box you can find them at LittleLifeBox.com A regular or vegan monthly subscription costs $19.99 (CAN) and a special gift box costs$22.99 (CAN). Also if you, purchase a 3, 6 or 12-month subscription you will receive a discounted rate. The only unfortunate thing for some of my readers is that Little Life Box is currently only available to the Canadian provinces.
