You know how it is. The kids have gone to bed, you want to settle down on the sofa with your other half and get your Marvel fix but you know as soon as you mention it they are going to roll their eyes and say they don’t like that stuff. What are you going to do? You employ the subtle art of persuasion that’s what.
Now, I know you are not supposed to bribe your kids to do things, but there are lots of things I do that I’m not supposed to. I have found that popcorn and Twizzlers are great motivators when you want the kids to sit down and watch a movie with you. The stuffed ones are the best. Twizzlers that is, not kids of course. Although having your kids stuffed, so they stay in the same spot and don’t make any noise does sound rather appealing. Anyway, I digress.
My husband is a different matter though. He can buy himself stuffed Twizzlers whenever he wants to so I need an entirely different motivational tool for him. Usually, it consists of saying “but it’s got Salma Hayek / Julianne Moore / Bradley Cooper in it” If that doesn’t work, or I can’t find someone he’s a fan of in the program, I resort to other forms of bribery. None of which I shall discuss here because we are a family blog.
If you need persuasion inspiration then here are three fabulous examples for you to use or work from. Good Luck.

Lol, I love him, hysterical!
That’s hysterical! I’ve been trying to catch up on the other Marvel shows before I watch The Defenders.
I know for myself, unless something is playing that the children want to see or havn’t seen it yet! , Lots of times we watch a little something of there and they sit for about 5 minutes through mine LOL.
