There are so many ways that we can personalize our spaces, and do it inexpensively too. Take the fantastic and awesome washi tape. It’s not the ordinary tape with which many of you might be familiar. It’s patterned and colorful, and you can use it on nearly every surface, from computers to tabletops.
Take, for example, your keyboard: It’s pretty dull to look at on its own. But cut some washi tape to fit the keys, and you’ve just created a one-of-a-kind palette for your daily work.
And you know those pretty boring cords that end up tangling your viewpoint? Wrap them in washi tape, and you’ll add pattern and prettiness to your cube or office.
Beyond electronics, you can also use pretty washi tape to dress up folders—color code them, or just create exciting designs. What are some other ideas? This graphic offers some inspiration.
