Do you dream of traveling the world but lack the resources? Maybe you want to share a piece of a different culture with your family – or perhaps you need some inspiration for date night? Whatever the reason, open up the Try the World box and you open up an adventure that’s perfect for sharing.
Paris is the first destination you will visit with Try the World, and the beautiful packaging is the first treat on your journey. Opening up the cardboard outer box you are presented with this lovely box, which is already earmarked as a keepsake box after we have finished with Paris!
There are items for everyone here in the Paris box. My husband & I snuck the French nougat bars before the kids could see them but we did share the box of caramels. These were a revelation to the little ones – certainly not the simple blocks of sugary caramel you buy at the local store. These caramels were a taste they had never experienced before, and we had to hide the remaining ones!
Once we had assuaged our parenting guilt, we went through the rest of the box without sharing.
The Try the World team travel the world to source the best of local ingredients and send them to you every other month. In the Paris box, you will receive, among other things, a superb sea salt, jars of French preserves, sachets of chocolate and a tube of Clement Faugier Creme de Marrons de l’Ardeche Chestnut Spread.
Along with the exciting treats and ingredients, you receive a culture guide listing a range of French movies, music, and literature for you to try. This way you have everything you need to start your exploration of Paris or a romantic French date night.
Try the World costs $45 per box – sent at two-month intervals. You can subscribe one month at a time or take a three country tour (France, Japan & Brazil) for $140. Gifting a box is easy, and I would certainly be happy to give or receive this as a gift (Hint Hint!).
